 COOPI - Cooperazione internazionaleis a secular and independent humanitarian foundation established in 1965. During 50 years of activity, it has carried out more than 1.400 projects in 59 countries, providing a direct benefit to over 80 millions of people. Currently it works in 25 countries.

COOPI supports population affected by disasters and conflicts and facilitates sustainable development processes. COOPI adopts an integrated approach in promoting sustainable development by linking different sectors and thematic (food security, water and sanitation, nutrition, health, disaster risk reduction, protection, education, health, gender).

COOPI is also committed to the Child Sponsorship programme in 8 countries, awareness and fund-raising campaigns, and master-level teaching.

COOPI collaborates with local stakeholders and coordinates its activities with other humanitarian actors, and it is part of several NGOs associations and forums. It is supported by international donors, local institutions, foundations, private companies, and individuals.

COOPI – Cooperazione Internazionale is the leading agency of the SET4food project. It is in charge of the overall coordination, as well as the implementation of pilot projects. It also organizes in-presence trainings and public events, and provides, with Politecnico di Milano, contents and teaching for in-presence trainings and the e-learning course.
